Efficiency of a dry and clean Vacuum

Construction features
The SIAV & VTB are volumetric three-lobe blower without internal compression. Running mainly in vacuum, they are the only dry positive displacement blowers capable to reach the 28”Hg vacuum / 92% vacuum. Used for vacuum applications, the air injection ensures the self cooling of the blower without auxiliary fluid. It can run with a closed inlet. Designed for industrial used in continuous 24h/24 h, those blowers are very efficient for maintaining dry or wet product in a vacuum environment. The air injection permits to handle hot gas without cooling upstream. They offer a wide range of possibilities with regard to the intake flow rates (auto-adaptation to the customer’s system), depending on the speed of rotation and the difference in pressure.
Principle of operation
The air inlet at vacuum side is taken in between chamber of compression and the rotor, transferred to the outlet. Air openings permit introduction of fresh air to cool the chamber of compression and then to limit the temperature increase inside the blower.
Ingersoll Rand Hibon cooling system is the most efficient of the market. SIAV and VTB are self protected, they can work accidently with closed gate, thanks to air injection patented design.
